Superfluous hair, although quite natural, is a problem for many women. Electrolysis is the only proven method of permanent hair removal and it involves the insertion of a fine needle into the hair follicle to the hair root. Electrolysis uses a mild current that is passed down the needle to the tip, this then cauterizes the hair root enabling the hair to be withdrawn. The Electrolysis process only takes a few seconds, per hair.
Semi flexible mats containing a coil that is connected to a short wave diathermy machine are placed against the broken capillary. A very thin needle or probe which is no bigger than an eyelash, is very gently pressed into the thread vein. A tiny zap, sends electrical impulses deep into the broken red vein. This stops the blood from entering into it and so renders it inactive.
